Homework
-Please complete the book Charlotte's Web for Literature by next Monday. Also, the worksheets given out are meant for pairwork.
-Maths Homework:
Q1E, i , Q2i , j , Q3e, f , Q5 , Q8a, Q9a, b, Q15, Q19 and Q20,
-Chinese: 三十六计 research.
-History project (Refer to worksheet in file). Note: finished project must be stapled and attached together with the marking rubrics. Deduction of marks if done otherwise.
-(EDITED) English Comprehension

TESTS:
Next tuesday: History test, Chps 1 , 2. ( I think so ).

Events and dates:
  • National day celebrations- Cultural Expressions Friday 6 Aug and rehearsal dates updated at the side.
  • Teacher's Day (31 Aug). Dismissed at 12noon.
  • Common tests Sec one: 11-13 Aug. Thursdays 12 Aug, all students are required to report to school at 7.20a.m.
  • Sexuality Education for Sec 1 integrated into science lessons (chapter 27, sexual reproduction in human beings and chapters related - Sexually transmited diseases (STD), Seuxally transmited infections (STI) so on a forth.
Folk dance costumes status:

Females:
  • Natasha will come out with the Accessories design. Peiying, Cassandra, Berlinda, Xiao Tong will help in picking out the colour of the accessories and the waist band. Permission granted by Ms Ang. Voting to take place next monday to finalise the things the female need.
  • Ms Ang has found a dress at a pasar malam. Refer to the previous thread. It costs $10 and is bargainable. The dress comes with 4 different coloured flowers (Green/Yellow/Pink/Red) . Urgent as the 27th is the full dress rehearsal. She wants everything done including the accessories et cetera by 23rd july.
Boys:
  • No information I think , but planning to source for clothes asap.
